Il est devenu Stephanoconus fuscatus génétiquement différent de Conus imperialis!

Voici trois Stephanoconus imperialis f. fuscatus type et un atypique: il a aussi un dessin de Stephanoconus imperialis lambda. Ce cône est assez commun dans l' Indo-Pacifique. Stephanoconus fuscatus est plus effilé, théoriquement pas de bandes marrons horizontales et des taches brunes longues, verticales, zigzaguantes sur le dernier tour. L' atypique est un Stephanoconus imperialis pas un f.fuscatus bien qu' il ai aussi ces bandes noires descendantes. Il n' a pas ce fond de coquille bleuté et est plus lourd, plus épais! Avec ces quatre là on a presque tout les intermédiaires. L' exemplaire de dessous étant le spécimen parfait! Taille: 61, 58, 55 et 46 mm.

Here are three Stephanoconus imperialis f. fuscatus type and atypical: it also has a drawing of Stephanoconus imperialis lambda. This cone is fairly common in the Indo-Pacific. Stephanoconus fuscatus is more slender, theoretically no horizontal brown stripes and brown spots, lengthwise, zigzagging on the last whorl. The Stephanoconus imperialis atypical is not f.fuscatus although it has also the black bars along the whorl . He has not the background of bluish, shell is heavier, thicker! With these four there was almost all intermediaries. The specimen below is the perfect specimen! Size: 61, 58, 55 and 46 mm.
